The Genetic Stripe is a taffy colored animal with little or no pattern on its sides and golden stripe (usually bordered in black) that extends from the head to tail. There are many variations among Genetic Stripes, with the general consensus being that a non-broken stripe and as little pattern on the sides of the body is desirable in the mutation. Some of the best examples out there also have a vanishing black border, leaving the animal nearly patternless.
My Genetic Stripe male is VPI line. I picked him as a founding animal because he is a stunning example of the mutation and is exactly what I look for in the morph.
